Bittersweet

Well today was my first day back to work and I must say that I had a great day.... busy though. One thing I did realize as I've been off the past few weeks is that I really love my job. I have the awesome privilege of getting to go to work and being used by God to lead people in worshiping Him. HOW AMAZING IS THAT!!! Thank You Lord for blessing me with this ministry.

Anyway, so why is this post titled bittersweet? Well simply because as I said I went back to work today which means that I had to leave my beautiful baby boy Matthew at home. I missed him all day. I've realized that I'm truly a dad now. So what does that mean?.... way to short khaki shorts with brown socks and loafers. YES!!! HALLELUJAH!!! Gotta love that.

This blogging thing is tough. I remember when I started I thought I would have something to say all the time but now that I'm actually in the midst of it.... I find that it's tough to do. Time is something that I'm realizing is very precious these days... and even more scarce. Anyway... one day I'll actually have time to write something good on here. Someday...
